Multiple Georgia Bulldogs have won postseason SEC awards, named by the AP.

Georgia inside linebacker has been named the AP’s SEC defensive player of the year, just one day after being named the recipient of the Butkus Award, given to the nation’s best linebacker.

Quarterback Jake Fromm has been named the SEC’s newcomer of the year after guiding his team to a College Football Playoff berth in his first season with the Dawgs. Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham also shares the award with Fromm.

Head coach Kirby Smart has been named the SEC’s coach of the year. A conference championship and a spot in the College Football Playoffs in year 2? Not bad.
