Four Georgia players were included on the SEC’s all-freshman team that was announced on Thursday afternoon.

Georgia reeled in the nation’s third ranked recruiting class last year, and its members certainly did not disappoint this season.

Quarterback Jake Fromm, running back D’Andre Swift and offensive linemen Andrew Thomas and Solomon Kindley were all included on the SEC’s all-freshman team.

Fromm, who also won the SEC’s Freshman of the Year earlier this week, completed 63% of his passes this season and threw for 2,173 yards, 21 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.

Swift rushed for 597 yards, averaging 8.3 yards per carry, and added 4 total touchdowns, acting as Georgia’s 3rd string running back.

Kindley and Thomas both were an integral part of Georgia’s much improved offensive line.

Missouri led the SEC with five players selected to the team, followed by Georgia and LSU with four each, and then Florida with three.
