The entire offensive staff visited Georgia’s top commit on Thursday night.
You must be special if you receive an in-home visit from the entire offensive coaching staff of a team that is also preparing to play in the College Football Playoff.
Georgia quarterback commit Justin Fields is that special. The 5-star quarterback out Kennesaw, Georgia – Justin Fields -hosted each member of UGA’s offensive coaching staff at his home on Thursday night.
Wide receivers coach James Coley, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jim Cheney, offensive line coach Sam Pittman and running backs coach Dell McGee wanted to continue to show some love as we approach the early signing period of December 20-22, though Fields has not announced whether or not he will enroll early.
In addition to the early signing period on the horizon, the coaching staff is doing all it can to fend off the competition for Fields. New Florida head coach Dan Mullen, a dual-threat quarterback mastermind, was awfully quick to conduct an in-home visit with Fields. Following Fields’s de-commitment from Penn State, Florida was considered a top option for Fields before Georgia ultimately won his commitment.
New Florida State head coach Willie Taggart also has plans to visit Fields at his Kennesaw home, according to Noles247.
If Fields’s recent tweets carry any weight, it looks like he is all dawg for now.
