The nation’s No. 2 offensive guard, Trey Hill, has committed to UGA.

Houston Country offensive guard Trey Hill, a 4-star recruit in the class of 2018, has committed to the University of Georgia.

Trey Hill (6’4,” 346 pound), out of Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, has committed to UGA.

On Friday, he released his top 4 schools, which included Georgia, Auburn, Florida and Florida State.

On Monday night, Hill – the nation’s second ranked offensive guard – made it official in a video released by SECCountry.com.

Hill ranks as the nation’s 38th overall player, 2nd ranked offensive guard and 6th ranked player in the state of Georgia.

Hill, who took a visit to Athens over the weekend, is a former teammate of Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm, which strengthened the ties between Georgia and Hill.

UGA has a chance to do something very special…secure commitments from the nation’s No. 1 and No. 2 ranked offensive guards in the same recruiting class. 5-star offensive guard Jamaree Salyer out of Pace Academy in Atlanta ranks as the nation’s 10th ranked player and top offensive guard, and is considered a strong Georgia lean.
