Four-star linebacker Channing Tindall will take his official visit to Athens this weekend.

The U.S. Army All-American visited Auburn for the Iron Bowl and this will be his third visit to Georgia.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound athlete has had a top three of Georgia, South Carolina and Auburn for several months. He’s the 2nd-rated player in the state and the nation’s No. 5 outside linebacker. Currently, he’s viewed as UGA lean.

Tindall runs the 200 meter for Spring Valley High (Columbia, S.C.) and throws the discus and shot put. He will enroll in college in the summer.

Georgia currently has 19 commits for the 2018,  the nation’s 4th- rated class.
