James Cook took a surprising visit to Tallahassee, Florida on Friday
The Florida State Seminoles welcomed James Cook to campus for an official visit on Friday.
James Cook, a four-star running back, is currently committed to Georgia.
Cook, the nation’s No. 3 running back and the No. 31-rated recruit in the nation, was initially committed to Florida State before reopening his recruitment and choosing Georgia in October.
The Seminoles newly hired coach, Willie Taggart, has made Cook a priority target. One of Taggart’s hires, tight ends coach Telly Lockette, has a history with the Cook family. Lockette coached Cook’s older brother and former Seminoles star Dalvin Cook when he was the head coach at Miami Central High School.
It will be something to keep an eye on, as to whether or not Cook stays with Georgia.
