ESPN’s Booger McFarland tells a Florida to “stop dreaming” regarding Justin Fields flipping his commitment from Georgia to the Gators.

Since Florida hired quarterback mastermind Dan Mullen to be its next head coach, many Florida fans seem to think they have a shot at flipping 5-star Georgia quarterback commit Justin Fields.

According to Booger McFarland of ESPN’s SEC Network, the optimistic Gator fans are sorely mistaken.

Mullen’s experience with big, bruising, dual-threat quarterbacks (Tim Tebow, Dak Prescott, Nick Fitzgerald) is surely impressive, but I don’t see Fields flipping away from his Georgia commitment.

The Georgia coaches are certainly aware of the contact being made between Fields and other coaches, though. Kirby Smart and staff have paid Fields multiple visits in the past two week. He was also in Athens over the weekend.
