Another No. 1 recruit will make it official with the Bulldogs on Wednesday.
Georgia commit Zamir White (Laurinburg, North Carolina) has tweeted that he will sign with the University of Georgia at 11:00 a.m ET on December 20 at Scotland High School.
Prior to tearing his ACL, White, the No. 1 rated prep at his position, was the star player on his Scotland team that made it to the 4A North Carolina state championship game.
White rushed for 2,086 yards on 148 carries and added 41 total touchdowns this season.
He ranks as the nation’s No. 1 running back, number 6 rated player overall and top player in the tar heel state.
Quarterback Justin Fields, the nation’s No. 1 prospect, announced this weekend he’ll also sign with the Dawgs on Wednesday. So did the nation’s top outside linebacker Adam Anderson. If UGA can land the nation’s No. 1-rated offensive lineman, Pace Academy’s Jamaree Salyer on Wednesday, Georgia could vault to the top 2 in the national recruiting race.
