Clark Hurst, the diehard Georgia fan who rode his scooter west from Athens, GA is going to make it to the big game, but in a different way than we all expected.
Clark Hurst rode his scooter all the way from Athens, Georgia to New Mexico. Unfortunately though, his scooter has been giving him problems, so the journey via road ends there
Saturday night, Hurst realized that he was not going to make it to Pasadena, California in time for the game following multiple issues with the scooter.
Hurst was forced to ditch his scooter and hitch hike his way to Tucson, Arizona, where one very kind UGA fan has offered to pay for his plane ticket to LAX International Airport.
Hurst will be in Pasadena on Sumday night, in time for Monday’s Rose Bowl, so the story does have a happy ending.
The long odyssey has come to an end, but not in the way Hurst would have liked.
Hurst, we at UGA Wire commend you on your valliant effort.
