2018 Safety Decommits From Georgia

2018 safety Rachad Wildgoose Jr. has decommitted from Georgia and is re-opening his recruitment.

Wildgoose Jr. is a three star safety from Miami, FL and is in the class of 2018. UGA already is losing starting safety Dominick Sanders to the NFL. Wildgoose Jr. is seen as a potential replacement.

J.R. Reed should continue to be the other starting safety for the Dawgs. Other possible candidates to replace Sanders include: Jarvis Wilson & Richard LeCounte III.

Wildgoose Jr.’s teammate at Northwestern, cornerback Divaad Wilson is already enrolled at UGA. In a tweet, he did not cite any specific reason for his decommitment. The decommitment is not too big of a loss for the Dawgs, who still boast the number one recruiting class of 2018, but every player counts.
