Junior defensive end Jonathan Ledbetter took to Instagram Monday to announce his decision to remain at the University of Georgia for his senior season.
His post came after junior linebacker Roquan Smith shared his decision with Dawg fans to leave UGA a year early for the NFL.
I want to take this time to thank everyone at the University of Georgia for helping develop me as a young man and a student athlete. These past three years have been a journey for me and I’m blessed to have had the opportunity to spend it with so many amazing people. With that being said after much thought and prayer with my family I’ve decided it’s in my best interest to use my last year of eligibility to play my senior season between the hedges❗️ #GoDawgs
Ledbetter joins Terry Godwin and Deandre Baker to return to play between the hedges for their senior years.
In his 2017 junior season, Ledbetter recorded 18 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks and 38 total tackles.
