Todd Gurley finished the 2017 season as the highest graded running back, according to Pro Football Focus, who gave Gurley’s 2017 season a grade of 91.9.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that Gurley finished as the highest graded running back after his sensational season. Gurley racked up a total of 2,093 yards and 19 touchdowns in 2017.

Gurley’s 2017 rushing stats:

  • 1,305 Rushing YDS
  • 4.7 YPC
  • 13 Rushing TDs

Gurley’s 2017 receiving stats:

  • 64 RECs
  • 788 Receiving YDS
  • 6 Receiving TDs

This past season, Gurley led the NFL in rushing touchdowns and receiving touchdowns (for a running back). Additionally, Gurley’s 763 yards after catch (YAC), led the NFL.

As a result, Gurley was not only PFF’s highest graded running back, but he was also named the NFL Offensive Player of the Year and FedEx Ground Player of the Year.
