Former Georgia standout LT Cordy Glenn has been traded to the Cincinnati Bengals, per ESPN. The Buffalo Bills are moving on from Glenn just a couple of years after giving him a 5 Year, $65 Million deal. Cordy Glenn joins former Bulldogs A.J. Green, Shawn Williams, Clint Boling and Geno Atkins on the Bengals.
Glenn fills a big hole for the Bengals, who were looking for a tackle to protect QB Andy Dalton’s blindside. Glenn battled some injuries this past season, but will benefit from the offseason and is expected to be healthy to start the year.
In exchange for Glenn, the Bengals moved down from #12 overall to #21 overall in the upcoming draft. Additionally, the Bengals got the Bill’s 5th round pick, while the Bills got the Bengal’s 6th round pick.
The trade will become official when the new league year starts Wednesday.
