Mark Richt Gives Classy Response To Question About Watching UGA Play For National Title

Former Georgia coach Mark Richt, one of the more genuine coaches in all of college football, is now the head man for the Miami Hurricanes. However, his current coaching job does not stop him from displaying nothing but class when discussing the University of Georgia.

ESPN’s Chris Low was recently carrying out a story on Richt, who went 145-51 during his 15 seasons at Georgia, and how he is attempting to make the Hurricanes a national powerhouse once again. In doing so, Low inquired about what it was like for Richt to watch Georgia play for the national title in January.

To nobody’s surprise, he responded in typical Richt-fashion, saying: “We cheer for people, so we were cheering for the players, and I’m friends with Kirby. Our time at Georgia will always be special to us.”
