Georgia Makes Changes To G-Day Seating Process

Thursday, Georgia announced changes to its annual G-Day Game thanks to construction of the west end zone and in preparation for another packed event.

In the past, Georgia fans could enter Sanford Stadium for free and sit wherever they’d like. This year, the game is still a free event, however, fans will be designated to a specific section of the stadium. The athletic association says it will provide fans with a collectible seating card upon entry and fans are asked to sit in the designated section they receive.

According to the AJC, gates 2-9 will remain open, but do construction of the west end zone, gate 10 (under the bridge) will be closed.
