CollegeFootballNews.Com Bowl Projections: High Expectations For Georgia

Expectations for the 2018-19 Georgia Bulldogs football team are as high as they have been since the 1980’s. With Kirby Smart at the helm, it’s a national championship or bust mindset for the players and the fans, and following last season’s heartbreaker, the DawgNation is ready to make another run at bringing home the title.

CollegeFootballNews.com analyst Pete Fiutak took a crack at predicting every bowl game for the upcoming football season, and clearly has high expectations for the Dawgs as well. Fiutak may not have Georgia winning it all next season, but he does see Smart and UGA making a return to the College Football Playoff.

Fiutak’s Playoff projections are as follows:

Goodyear Cotton Bowl

Saturday, December 29th, 2018
AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX
CFP vs. CFP
Projection: Alabama vs. Ohio State

Orange Bowl

Saturday, December 29th, 2018
Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, FL
CFP vs. CFP
Projection: Clemson vs. Georgia

College Football Playoff National Championship

Monday, January 7th, 2019
Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA
CFP vs. CFP
Projection: Alabama vs. Clemson

Ok, so these predictions may not have Georgia winning it all, or even going to the championship for that matter, but we all know that once you make it to the final four, as we saw last season, anything is possible.
