Nation's No. 3 Cornerback Includes Georgia In Top 6 Schools

4-star recruit Jeffery Carter ranks as the nation’s No. 3 ranked cornerback and 42nd overall player in the class of 2019 according to the ESPN300.

On Wednesday, the 6-foot, 180 pound defensive back out of Aledo, Texas released his top 6 schools, which included Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs.

Georgia was accompanied by Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M and Alabama.

Carter, who decommitted from Oklahoma in January, released his top 10 schools last month, a list that, at the time, did not include Georgia.

Carter was voted first team all-district in 2017, and in two seasons has recorded 42 tackles, five deflections and three interceptions.

The Aledo prospect also plays some wide receiver and has tallied 450 yards and 6 touchdowns in two years.
