Report: A Top Rated Offensive Tackle Has Committed To Georgia

On Thursday, Georgia picked up a commitment from a top rated 2020 offensive tackle.

Lithonia, Ga., offensive tackle Broderick Jones reportedly committed to Georgia, but according to Jeff Sentell of DawgNation, Jones made his decision in mid-March.  The Lithonia tackle told Sentell that he has visited Georgia ““three or four times” since making alerting the coaches of his commitment.

The 6’6″ 300 lb offensive tackle is currently rated the 6th best offensive tackle in the nation, 35th best overall player and 4th rated player in the state of Georgia. Due to him only being a sophomore, he is yet to pick up a star rating.

The commitment of Jones is huge for Kirby Smart and staff, as he will be a key asset in re-loading the offensive line tagged the ‘Great Wall of Georgia.’

Jones joins highly coveted defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse as Georgia’s only two commitments for the class of 2020.
