Georgia Baseball To Relax At Sanford Stadium Ahead Of Game With Troy

According to the SEC Network’s broadcasting crew, the Georgia baseball team will head to Sanford Stadium ahead of their game with Troy at 8:00 PM EST.  Coach Scott Striklin and staff decided not to wait at Foley Field for their upcoming matchup.  Instead, Striklin thought his team should go to Sanford Stadium and relax in the lounge since it has more amenities than Foley Field.

The ‘Diamond Dawgs’ are set to take on the Troy Trojans around 8:00 after beating the Campbell Camels 18-5 earlier in the day.  Georgia will play again tomorrow, but the timing depends on if they win or not against Troy.

If Georgia were to win, then the Dawgs would play in the region final tomorrow at 6:00 PM EST.  However, if the Dawgs lose, they will play in an elimination game at 12:00 PM EST.  We will continue to update you throughout the weekend on Georgia’s progress in the regionals.
