If Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs weren’t already loaded for the upcoming season, they certainly are now. Demetris Robertson, incoming transfer wide receiver out of California-Berkley, was granted full eligibility for the 2018-19 season after originally having to sit out a year due to the NCAA’s transfer policy.
With Friday’s big news, Robertson adds to an already stout group of receivers in Athens, which include Terry Godwin III, Riley Ridley, Mecole Hardman and Isaac Nauta.
(Fun fact: quarterback Jake Fromm will have his choice of four former 5-star receivers to throw to this season in Godwin, Hardman, Nauta and now Robertson.).
As expected, the Georgia fan base erupted with excitement after learning the news that ‘DRob’ would be ‘free’.
Below, we have compiled some of the best Tweets reacting to the big news.
