Former Georgia Quarterback And Offensive Coordinator Mike Bobo Hospitalized

Colorado State head coach Mike Bobo was taken to a Fort Collins hospital and was evaluated by doctors after experiencing numbness in his feet, a statement from Colorado State said Monday afternoon.

The former Georgia quarterback and offensive coordinator was admitted to a local hospital after the Ram’s scrimmage on Saturday. He missed the team’s Monday practice.

The Thomasville, Georgia native released a statement — “I feel very encouraged by the test results to this point and hope to have some answers soon. I also feel very encouraged about our 2018 CSU Football team. We have excellent coaches and excellent leadership in this program, and I have full confidence that they will continue to have tremendous preparation on and off the practice field for as long as I must be away. My family and I appreciate all of the great care and support we are receiving.”

Bobo was preparing for his fourth season leading Colorado State. The Rams have played in three straight bowl games and finished 7-6 in each of his three seasons.
