Aaron Murray Talks Georgia Running Game: "May Be Better This Year"

UGA great Aaron Murray, the most decorated passer in SEC history, has high expectations for the 2018 Georgia running game.

Even after the departure of the school’s 2nd and 3rd all-time leading rushers, Nick Chubb and Sony Michel, Murray points to sophomore running back D’Andre Swift to have a huge season in Athens.

After floating around the NFL for a few seasons as a backup quarterback, Murray has found a new career as an SEC football analyst for CBS Sports.

While appearing on CBS Sport Network’s “Inside College Football,”  Murray was asked about the future of Georgia’s running game, where he went on to praise Swift, who tallied 618 rushing yards and 153 receiving yards as a freshman.

After pointing out the return of Jake Fromm, a stellar offensive line and serious talent at the receiver position, Murray closed by stating “this running game may be better this year just because they have a full package around them.”
