Watch: Javon Wims Makes 2 Huge Plays On Bears Scoring Drive

The rest of the country may just be hearing about Javon Wims’ playmaking abilities, but fans of the Georgia Bulldogs have become accustomed to his incredible catches.

Wims showed off his magnet-like hands in the Chicago Bears’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday.

The once Division III wide receiver set Chicago up for a scoring drive with a huge 53-yard catch and run prior to making a highlight reel diving grab in the end zone to give the Bears a 21-10 lead.

NFL teams are winding down their preseason camps and getting ready to make the annual 53-man roster cuts, where Wims’ status seemed to be in jeopardy.

However, as the NFL Network announcers stated, Wims’ playmaking vs. the Chiefs will likely solidify his chances at making the team.

After a stellar preseason, we would be absolutely shocked to see Wims get cut by the Bears.  With that being said, the NFL is a totally different ballgame and you never know what teams will do with late round picks come the dreaded roster cuts.

This angle provides an even better look at Wims’ unbelievable catch.
