Look: Georgia Adds Dog Bone To go Along With Savage Spikes

Georgia’s savage spiked shoulder pads became a staple of the UGA defense over last season. After a player causes a turnover, he would be rewarded with the savage spikes to wear on the sidelines as he was praised by his teammates.

Now, there’s been an upgrade to the spikes.

A dawg bone has been added to the kit, as first seen in the opening quarter of Georgia’s season opener against Austin Peay.

Leading 10-0, Georgia linebacker D’Andre Walker recovered a fumble after a botched Austin Peay pitch, eventually leading to a UGA touchdown.

Upon returning to the sidelines, the cameras showed Walker not only wearing the pads, but toting the new bone as well.
