After Sir Foster made his earlier announcement on taking over the Sanford Stadium sound system, Georgia fans seem to be getting even more surprises for the new season.
Sanford Stadium has added several graphics to the inside of its structure after fans requested more team branding like their SEC foes already have.
Seth Emerson of The Athletic got early access to Georgia’s crown jewel Friday for the unveiling of the West End Zone project’s completion.
While inside, he was able to discover the new graphics on the stadium walls, as well as an answer to a highly asked question.
The iconic concrete Bulldog that once stood in Georgia’s East end zone will remain in the stadium, however, it finds itself rather hidden from most fans’ view. The statue now sits in a corner of the West end zone.
The placement of the statue will not affect the digits on the scoreboard, but we are glad to hear it did stay inside Sanford Stadium.
