Watch: Incredible Time Lapse Of Georgia’s First Game

It was a hot one in Athens on Saturday, but that didn’t stop fans from showing up in full force to see the Georgia Bulldogs beat Austin Peay 45-0.  The Bulldog faithful packed the house inside Sanford Stadium early for Georgia’s opening game, which showcased the newly renovated West end zone for the first time.

Sanford Stadium’s weather tracker provided a time-lapse of the cloud cover on Saturday, which also featured a great video of fans entering and leaving the hallowed grounds.

As shown, fans quickly made their way out in the second half due to the extreme heat levels at the game, and the fact that the Dawgs held a 38-0 lead at intermission.

Seeing one of the nation’s most beautiful stadiums fill up through this gorgeous time-lapse is just plain awesome and makes us appreciate Athens even more.
