Georgia head coach Kirby Smart is used to terrorizing the Gamecocks, as both a coach and a player.
Smart is 2-0 against South Carolina as Georgia’s head football coach, racking up wins in 2016 & 2017.
As a player, Smart made his way into the Georgia record books by climbing his way to the top of the all-time interceptions list, an honor he now shares with former defensive back Dominick Sanders.
What many people don’t remember about Smart is that he could get after the quarterback with elite skill for a defensive back.
In his first ever game as a Bulldog in 1995, Smart burst his way onto the scene, recording 3 sacks against South Carolina in the season opener, a game Georgia won 42-23.
Hopefully Smart has shown this clip to his current pass rushers as they prepare to take on the Gamecocks on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Columbia.
