This game certainly changed quickly following the halftime break. After the South Carolina Gamecocks trimmed a Bulldogs lead to 17-10, and built up a little momentum of their own, Kirby Smart’s team responded with three gorgeous drives in the 3rd quarter.
The once electrifying Williams-Brice Stadium is dead silent at the moment, as some fans are waving the white flag on the Gamecocks in just the 3rd quarter. The game is certainly not over yet, as the Atlanta Falcons have proved to us time and time again. However, it’s looking good for boys in the silver britches.
As seen in Matt DeBary’s tweet, fans are starting to head for the exits with the score 34-10, in favor of the visitors.
Leaving this early in the game seems foolish, but it might start to get ugly in Columbia folks.
Many fans remember the scene from Knoxville, Tennessee last year when a sellout crowd of orange and white emptied out of Neyland Stadium, in the Bulldogs’ 41-0 dismantling on the Volunteers.
Could we be witnessing a familiar outcome in the Palmetto State right now?
