Georgia Offensive Lineman Named To Pro Football Focus Team Of The Week

The analytical gurus at Pro Football Focus released their Week 3 National Team of the Week and selected Georgia offensive lineman Ben Cleveland to the team.

Pro Football Focus, a leading scouting service, graded the redshirt sophomore guard with a 77.0 in the win against Middle Tennessee.

“Another SEC lineman to keep a clean sheet in pass protection, Cleveland logged 26 pass-blocking snaps without allowing a single pressure. So far in 2018, Cleveland has yet to allow a QB pressure on his 52 snaps in pass protection.”

Cleveland helped clear the path for a No. 2 Georgia team that posted more than 40 points for the third consecutive game. The Dawgs had 261 rushing yards and 223 passing yards in the game.

The 6’6”, 335-pound Stephens High product has started all three games this season at right guard. He played in all 15 games last year and started the last five games. Cleveland was the nation’s No. 10 offensive tackle coming out of high school in 2016.

Cleveland has been primarily playing right guard and is listed as a backup at two other line positions. He’ll have his hands full this Saturday with Missouri senior defensive tackle Terry Beckner. The 6’4”, 305-pound senior ranks among the nation’s elite interior defenders with the size, speed and strength combination that is coveted at the next level.

Georgia and Missouri (3-0) are set to kickoff at Noon ET in Columbia with ESPN televising the game and the IMG Network providing radio coverage.
