Georgia Tech Football Coach Paul Johnson Believes His Yellow Jackets Can Still Make The ACC Championship

Things are getting worse and worse down on The Flats for Georgia Tech, as the Yellow Jackets dip further into misery by the day.

Coach Paul Johnson’s team is off to a horrific 1-3 start and 0-2 in ACC play entering week 5.

However, the triple option loving coach believes his squad’s season is still alive, with an ACC Championship game berth within reach.

“I think there’s still a chance if what you’re asking is, ‘Do we have a chance to win the Coastal?’” said the longtime Jackets coach. “Absolutely. Absolutely. We’ve won the thing with a 5-3 record before.”

Georgia Tech fans likely agree with the Bulldogs for once, realizing this scenario is all but comical coming from Johnson, with his outdated offensive scheme completely figured out by opponents.

We’ll see how Johnson’s optimism works out for the North Avenue Trade school when Clean Old-Fashioned Hate comes around at the end of November.  Is 66-41-5 considered a rivalry?  Maybe not, but Gamecock fans sure would love to have 41 wins against the Dawgs.

Even the Georgia Tech Barstool seems to be losing hope on the Ramblin Wreck.
