Watch: Vols Coach Jeremy Pruitt Waits Around To Congratulate Georgia Players

Jeremy Pruitt may not be the most beloved man in Athens, but Georgia fans will certainly have a bit more respect for him now than they did before.

The first year head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers (2-3, 0-2) showed support for his former team on Saturday night, taking the loss with class. Pruitt stuck around in Sanford Stadium following the final whistle to congratulate Georgia (5-0, 3-0) on the victory over his team, a really classy move after losing to a rival.

The Dawgs took care of business as usual Saturday, moving to 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in the SEC. It was not always pretty, but the Dawgs ended with a 38-12 victory.

Now that Pruitt is in Knoxville and the Bulldogs have beaten Tennessee, it seems like it’s time to put his Georgia tenure in the past.

Until next time, Tennessee.
