AP Top 25 Released: Where Is Georgia Football?

The Associated Press has released its weekly rankings after yet another great weekend of college football, with the Bulldogs still undefeated.  Kirby Smart’s 5-0 team heads into week 6 ranked second in the country yet again, with a potential top 5 matchup in Baton Rouge creeping up.

Georgia remained at No. 2 in the rankings, while the rest of the Top 10 saw a bit of a shakeup.  Of course, the Alabama Crimson Tide remain the top team and for good reason, but beneath was some major movement.

Clemson limped past Syracuse on Saturday, while Ohio State came away with a marquee win in Happy Valley and Oklahoma cruised.  Notre Dame had a huge win over Stanford as well. Auburn had a tough outing against Southern Miss.

Kentucky moved to 5-0 after a win over South Carolina, earning the No. 13 ranking. Georgia travels to Lexington on Nov. 3rd to face the Wildcats.

It’s still too early to know the true identity of every team at the top of the rankings, but some things are becoming more clear each week.
