Georgia’s week seven game in Death Valley now has an official kickoff time and TV station.
When Georgia meets LSU in Baton Rouge, in what could possibly be a top-five matchup, the game will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcasted on CBS.
As expected, it will be the SEC on CBS featured game of the week.
Both Georgia and LSU are riding an undefeated record into October. The Bulldogs play unranked Vanderbilt this Saturday while the Tigers have a ranked matchup vs Florida in Gainesville.
Assuming both Georgia and LSU make it to week seven boasting 6-0 records and sitting inside the top-five, it will be college football’s top game of the season so far and will have major Playoff implications.
This will be the first matchup between the two schools since September 28, 2013, when Aaron Murray led a last minute drive to defeat the Tigers 44-41 in a top-ten battle in Athens.
Georgia’s most recent visit to Baton Rouge came in 2008, where Matt Stafford led the Dawgs to a 52-38 win.
