Former Georgia Football Players Predict Score Of UGA vs LSU

Georgia (6-0, 4-0) vs LSU (5-1, 2-1) is finally here.

The game that UGA fans have had circled on their calendar has arrived and nobody could have imagined how big of a showdown it would be.

The Tigers lost last week, removing them from their No. 5 ranking and no longer allowing for it to be a top-5 battle in Baton Rouge.

But it’s still big, and the last time Georgia played in Tiger Stadium, the Dawgs won 52-38 in 2008. The last time the two teams met in general was a top-10 matchup in Athens in 2013 that the Dawgs won 44-41 behind a great day from Aaron Murray.

In between, Georgia and LSU met in Atlanta for the 2011 SEC Championship. LSU won 42-10, and I know it’s hard to believe, but the game was a lot closer than the score looked…at least in the first half. Georgia held a 10-7 lead at halftime, but missed on two easy touchdown opportunities. LSU’s lone score in the first half should have actually been negated, as Tigers DB Tyrann Mathieu dropped the football before the end zone after a punt return. The second half, on the other hand, was a different story.

We polled former UGA players, some of which played in the 2008, 2011 or 2013 match-ups, and asked them for their prediction on the big game.
