After a tough few days of recruiting last week, Georgia is getting back on track.
On Wednesday, 2019 4-star safety Lewis Cine committed to the University of Georgia via his Twitter account.
Cine, out of Trinity Christian School in Cedar Hill, Texas, ranks as the nation’s 59th overall player, 3rd at the safety position and 8th in the state of Texas.
Cine chose the Bulldogs over Penn State, Florida, Texas and Michigan.
Georgia, whose class ranking slipped from No. 1 to No. 3 after losing 3 commitments last week, really needed news like this to get the train back on track.
Cine is Georgia’s only commitment at the safety position and becomes Kirby Smart’s 17th commit in what is shaping up to be another top 3 class.
