UGA Football Injury Update: Key Defender Back At Practice, Others Still Out

The Georgia Bulldogs may have lost the game to LSU on Saturday but that wasn’t the only thing that went wrong.  Outside linebacker D’Andre Walker suffered an injury during the game, which led to a cause for concern.

If you are in need of something positive out of Athens, we have some good news though.

Walker was seen practicing with the team on Tuesday during the media’s viewing period.  The senior out of Fairburn, Georgia likely suffered a minor injury, though we do not know the exact cause.

However, it is likely that Walker, a former 4-star, will be available for the Florida game.

Walker may be back on the field but defensive lineman David Marshall remains sidelined with a foot injury, while Daquan Hawkins-Muckle has yet to make a return.

Freshman Devonte Wyatt saw the field again, wearing a knee brace along with junior Michael Barnette.

Also missing from action was star sophomore running back D’Andre Swift, though his status is unknown.

The Bulldogs are a bit banged up but nothing like the neighboring Atlanta Falcons.
