Georgia Players Have Made More In The NFL Than Any Other School

UGA has always boasted top notch talent, of course, and it is a blessing to be able to watch a former Bulldog elevate their game and tear it up on Sundays. From Herschel Walker and Terrell Davis to Champ Bailey and Hines Ward, there is a rich history of Hall of Fame caliber talent that has emerged from Athens, Georgia.

So, it should come as no surprise that during a rich era of Georgia football, there is a ridiculously talented crop of former Dawgs tearing it up across the National Football League. Allan Bell of 247sports shared a very compelling statistic during a relatively dull weekend of college football.

It was clarified that these rankings reflect career earnings for former players from these specific college programs. So, former Dawgs have earned more than all the rest!

With a deep core of NFL veterans that have earned massive contracts such as Matthew Stafford, AJ Green, Todd Gurley, Geno Atkins, Justin Houstin, Cordy Glenn, Reshad Jones and more, this should not come as much of a surprise. It also will not be long before the likes of Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, and Roquan Smith get even bigger contracts that reflect the elite NFL talent they will become.

Although other schools like Bama and Southern Cal have more active NFL players in total, this stat means that there is a sound argument that currently, UGA breeds the best NFL talent. After all, money made in the NFL is earned according to how players perform on the field, so the better you play the better they pay. Dawgs get paid the most.
