Lee Corso Does Not Sound Terribly Impressed By 2018 Georgia Bulldogs

In town for ESPN’s College Gameday on Saturday ahead of the Georgia-Florida game, college football analyst Lee Corso met with Swamp247 to give some quick thoughts on the big game.

Corso mentioned he knows who he is picking on Gameday, but he refrained from saying.

He did, however, give his thoughts on the two teams, and it does not sound like this year’s Georgia Bulldogs have impressed him too much.

“Florida is a very good football team,” Corso said. “They lost one game to Kentucky but they’re really good and they’re coming on real strong. They’ve passed more tests than Georgia. Georgia has had one test and failed it.”

Corso continued by discussing the level this year’s team is playing at compared to last year’s conference championship team.

“I think their defense is good but they don’t have as many superstars on defense,” Corso said of Georgia. “The quarterback is just as good, but I’ll tell you what, it’s a lot different team. They haven’t passed a test yet. LSU was a test and they failed. Florida is a test.”

Based on these quotes, we’d expect Corso to roll with the Gators at the end of Saturday’s episode. But then again, he’s known for pulling a fast one on the fans. Is this all a part of a long con that ends in him hoisting a live bulldog and choosing Georgia?
