UGA Football Coach Kirby Smart Makes Questionable Decision Before Halftime

Heading into the locker room, the Bulldogs retain a 13-7 lead over the Florida Gators, though uncertainty is in the air.

Jake Fromm led a nice drive down the field to Isaac Nauta before halftime but it only ended in three points.

With six seconds left on the clock and timeouts remaining, Kirby Smart decided to send in Rodrigo Blankenship for a field goal try.

There is no doubt that Blankenship needed to come in on the drive but another throw at the end zone was possible before attempting the field goal.

Only time will tell if going for three points and playing not to lose hurts the Bulldogs in the second half.

As for now, it’s 13-7 Georgia, heading into the third quarter.
