UGA Football Injury Report For Kentucky Game

As Georgia’s difficult SEC schedule continues, the Dawgs injury report continues to grow and grow. This is Georgia’s third consecutive game against a top-10 team away from Sanford Stadium, and next week, the team hosts Auburn, another physical conference opponent.

Fatigue increases and chance of injury rises, which is part of the reason Georgia left Jacksonville with a banged Bulldog team.

Here’s a look at Georgia’s injury report ahead of its game vs No. 9 Kentucky.

PROBABLE…

Probable: OL Andrew Thomas

OL Andrew Thomas has been dealing with an ankle injury since early in the season, though he has managed to play through the lingering pain the past few weeks. Against Florida, though, Thomas went down holding that ankle and was forced to miss a good chunk of the game. He did return, however, when his substitute, Kendall Baker, also went down.

Probable: OL Kendall Baker

Kendall Baker was put into action last week after Thomas went down with an ankle injury. The 5th year senior, who started almost every game last season, played very well filling in for Thomas, but went down with an injury in the second half. Expect Baker to be able to go against Kentucky. You can never have enough depth on the offensive line.

Probable: WR Mecole Hardman:

Mecole Hardman appeared to have injured his ankle and his foot on a play against Florida last week. He was forced to the sideline for a good bit before returning to action, but never really had an impact in his return. Hardman was able to practice this week, and his speed could be the difference-maker in a hard defensive battle in Lexington. Look for Hardman to be able to play today.
