6 Reasons Why Georgia Beats Auburn This Saturday

On Saturday, No. 5 Georgia will host No. 24 Auburn in what will be the Bulldogs’ fourth consecutive game against a top-25 opponent.

Georgia is 2-1 in its last three games, all against top-10 opponents, and for Kirby Smart’s team to make it out of this stretch 3-1, they cannot overlook a talented Auburn squad. Earlier this week we gave five reasons why Auburn could pull off the upset on Georgia.

UGA is a heavy 13.5 point favorite in the 7 p.m. matchup that will air on ESPN.

Georgia (8-1, 5-1) leads the all-time series against Auburn 58-56-8 and has won 12 out of the last 17 in the series. Auburn (6-3, 3-3) is coming off a 28-24 win over Texas A&M on the Plains while the Bulldogs clinched the SEC East crown with a 34-17 road victory over Kentucky.

We predict a 24-10 Georgia victory on Saturday, keeping playoff hopes alive for the second consecutive season.
