Georgia Football Players As Marvel Characters, In Tribute To Stan Lee

Legendary comic writer Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95 on Monday in Los Angeles, California.

In honor of Lee, we decided to create a list of Georgia football players we felt best fit the roles of Marvel superhero characters.

Our list:

The Incredible Hulk: Elijah Holyfield

With his incredible strength and trucking ability, Holyfield is a lock for the role of Hulk.

Captain America: Jake Fromm

The quarterback is the leader of the team, after all.

Iron Man: D’Andre Swift

Good luck bringing the Philadelphia phenom down.

Quicksilver: Mecole Hardman

With his speed, Hardman can outrun just about anyone on the field.

Wolverine: D’Andre Walker

With three forced fumbles and eleven hits on the quarterback, Walker takes the cake here.

Spider-Man: Deandre Baker

Having the ability to jump up and deflect or intercept opponents’ pass attempts, Baker fits best as the man in the red and blue suit.

Hawkeye: Rodrigo Blankenship

Perfect on PAT attempts, Blankenship’s kicking accuracy is comparable to Hawkeye’s shooting skill.

Thanos: Nick Saban

For all we know, Saban might actually be Thanos.

Round one went in the Crimson Tide’s favor but Georgia is determiend to get revenge in the rematch.

Our deepest condolences go out to Lee’s family in this difficult time, though we celebrate the remarkable life he had.
