5 Reasons Why Georgia Beats Tech This Saturday

This Saturday, instate rivals Georgia and Georgia Tech square off in the 113th meeting of Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate.

The game will kickoff at noon eastern time and will air on the SEC Network from Athens, Georgia.

No. 5 UGA, riding a 10-1 record, is considered a 17 point favorite over the 7-4 Yellow Jackets, the largest margin held by any team in the last 25 years.

The Dawgs may have already clinched the SEC Eastern division, but if Georgia wants to have any shot at making the College Football Playoff, it must win out, starting with this weekend vs Tech.

Georgia Tech has won the last two meetings in Sanford (2014: 30, 24 OT — 2016: 28, 27), and the Jackets would love nothing more than to spoil Georgia’s season.

The Dawgs will not let this happen, though. Kirby Smart knows his team can’t afford any errors against a pesky rival.

Here are five reasons why Georgia wins this game.
