Watch: Sony Michel scores Patriots' first touchdown

Sony Michel, the former Georgia running back and first-round pick of the New England Patriots, sprinted into the end zone for the first touchdown of the day in Foxborough against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Michel was given the ball 6 times for 15 yards and a touchdown on the opening drive with former Wisconsin running back James White splitting the carries.

The opening drive took 7:11 and half the 1st quarter off the clock thanks to a  gauntlet of running plays.

After scoring, Michel did his infamous jazz hands move, which signifies credit to the offensive line for blocking on the play.

There to greet him was former Georgia teammate David Andrews, the Patriots’ starting center.
